TEXAS CITY—

Mrs. Cora Lee Jarmon, longtime resident of Texas City, was born December 10, 1933, in New Iberia, Louisiana and passed from this earthly life February 14, 2012, at the age of 78.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Watson, Sr. and Adaline Armstrong Watson; husband, Tom Jarmon, Jr. and brother, Lawless Watson; she is survived by her son Rodd Jarmon and brother, Joseph Watson, Jr.; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today, Monday, February 20th at Mainland Funeral Home. The Home Going Celebration will be 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Rising Star Baptist Church, 302 N. Oak in Texas City, Pastor D. N. Benford, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow at Mainland Memorial Cemetery, Hitchcock.
