Willie L. Thorn

TEXAS CITY —Willie “Billie” L. Thorn, 80, of Texas City, Texas, born June 21, 1931 in Jarrell, TX, passed away peacefully at home, February 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Elizabeth Harrison; daughter, Doris Ann Thorn; and six brothers.

Billie is survived by her husband of 60 years, A.O. Bill Thorn; daughters, Barbara (Steve) and Susan(Bob); sisters, Ruby Ezell and Millie Evans; grandsons, Lance and Christopher Patterson; great-granddaughters, Abby and Olivia; special niece, Kathy; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends she helped out throughout the years.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546.

The Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Highlands Baptist Church, 2908 Cedar Drive, La Marque, TX 77568 with Rev. Robby K. Magee officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple, Texas with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.
