The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Max and Ruth Mesecher of Houston and Valerie Richey and the late Doris Richey of Buda, Texas.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Richard and Barbara LaCour of Webster, Suzanne Hamm and the late Lyn Hamm of Spring Branch and Manuel Alaniz Sr. and Rachel Alaniz of Texas City, Texas.

A summer wedding is planned.
