Group, clinic reach out to stroke patients

GALVESTON — The University of Texas Medical Branch helps patients and their families cope with the major life changes as a result of a stroke.

Thomas Lee McKnight, Sr.

April 17, 1959 - January 31, 2012

FRIENDSWOOD —Resident of Friendswood, Texas, born in Georgetown, Texas, Thomas Lee McKnight, Sr. sadly left us on Tuesday January 31, 2012. He was preceded in death by his dad Joe E. McKnight and his mother Martha D. McKnight.

He is survived by his loving and adoring wife Alice Faye McKnight, and children Jeff M. Doebler, Thomas L. McKnight, Jr., Michael B. McKnight, and daughters Christina Stevens, Shar Young, and Molly Bryson. He is also survived by his close and loving brothers and their families: Joe E. and Penny McKnight, John E. and Nellie McKnight, James R. and Mae McKnight and Richard S. and Cheri McKnight as well as his sister, Camilla M. McKnight. Tom had 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren that he loved dearly and enjoyed taking pictures of and spending time with. He was survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many more family members and friends.

He was known for many wonderful attributes: kindness, generosity, the list goes on infinite but above all his devotion and love for GOD the Father and Christ Jesus.

Services will be held at Crowder Funeral Home, located at 1645 East Main Street, League City, 77573. The viewing will be on Friday, February 03, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with funeral services being held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
