Texans Represent Us Proudly

Jordan Godwin was spot on in his Sunday column regarding the Houston Texans (“Victory unites the city,” The Daily News, Jan. 8). I have grown more and more aggravated throughout the years with displaced Dallas Cowboy fans and have said in anger, “Then move to Dallas!” countless times — often to family members and close friends.

The almost crazy attachment to the inferior Cowboys by locals borders is traitorous. Even Dallas’ self-appointed joke of “America’s Team” is so l980s.

When did “the Boys” last win a playoff game? I have loved Houston teams from the Oilers to the current gritty squad, and although they might not win another game this year, they are my team and represent the entire area proudly.

So again, if you love the Cowboys, move to Dallas — no, make that Arlington.
