Minister Phillip D. Palmer and Advance Praze are inviting gospel music enthusiasts to a CD release concert at 7 p.m. today at Greater Barbours Chapel Baptist Church, 7402 FM 1765, in Texas City.
The concert will feature the group’s debut album “Great Praze!”
Temi Woodley and High Praise dance ministry and the Houston chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will be among the performers.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Back Down Memory Lane
In celebration of its 20th year, the Bay Area Harbour Playhouse will present “George M!” — the first musical production done at the theater, which is at 3803 state Highway 3 in Dickinson.
“George M!” tells the life story of George M. Cohan, a giant of the American musical theater who gave us songs such as “Yankee Doodle Dandy” and “Over There.”
The play opens at 8 p.m. today and will be shown at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays through July 31.

Clear Creek Winery Grand Opening
The public is invited to the grand opening of Clear Creek Winery at noon Saturday and Sunday at 709 Harris Ave. in Kemah.
Activities will include wine tastings, tours and wine jelly tastings by Brazos River Provisions Co. Barbecue will be available for purchase. There also will be several activities for children.
There will be music by Pasheen and other artists, as well as wine for sale by the glass or bottle.

‘History On Tap’ Onboard The Elissa
The Galveston Historical Foundation is inviting the public to a joint discussion on the centuries old crafts of ship building, brewing and the connections between them at 7 p.m. Saturday onboard the 1877 tall ship Elissa at the Texas Seaport Museum at Pier 21 and Harborside Drive in Galveston.

‘Dinos Alive!’ Now Showing
Visitors can experience the age of the dinosaurs as Moody Gardens hosts the exhibit “Dinos Alive!” from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Aug. 15 at 1 Hope Blvd. in Galveston.
Attendees will get to see more than 20 lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, including a full-size Tyrannosaurus Rex, a baby T-Rex and its nest, a Triceratops and a Stegosaurus, just to name a few.
Admission is $5.95 per person. Children 3 and younger are admitted free.
Dinosaur-themed films also will be shown at Moody Gardens’ MG3D, 4D Special FX and Ridefilm theaters.
