Meeting to discuss fire at Jamaica Beach City Hall

JAMAICA BEACH — The city council has scheduled an emergency meeting for 5 p.m. today to discuss the fire that damaged city hall Saturday night.

Today’s meeting will be in the fire department training room at city hall, 16628 San Luis Pass Road.

The fire was contained to the attic. While the blaze did not reach offices, the building sustained fire and water damage.
