Island bike parade features live music

GALVESTON — Island BIKE Fest Parade presents “Galveston Island Still Lives,” a themed live music event at Saengerfest Park.

Lineup for the parade starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the parade starting at 10 a.m. at The Loading Dock at 25th and Postoffice streets and ending at Saengerfest Park, 22nd Street and The Strand, where events will be in full swing.

Music kicks off with Galveston’s own greatest gypsy band of brothers, Come See My Dead Person, followed by Galveston bands Those Sun Giants and This Side Up until 5 p.m.
