Tina Turner Impersonator
GALVESTON — Tina Turner impersonator Michelle Marshall will perform today at Crow’s Southwest Cantina Bar and Grill, 2408 The Strand, in downtown Galveston.
Marshall is an entertainer and actress based out of Las Vegas and formerly of Galveston.
The show begins about 9 p.m.

Harbour Playhouse Presents ‘Forum’
DICKINSON — Bay Area Harbour Playhouse presents the Tony Award-winning musical “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” through Sunday.
The show is a mix of the bawdy 2,000-year-old Roman comedies of Plautus and vaudeville.
The story follows a crafty slave’s struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan for his young master in exchange for freedom.
The show starts at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee Sunday at 3803 state Highway 3.

Rock The Dock Presents Sweet Root
KEMAH — Sweet Root will put on its style of Baton Rouge rock ’n’ roll at the Kemah Boardwalk on Thursday.
The show begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 10:15 p.m.

James Reese Band At Bands On The Sand
GALVESTON — James Reese Band will bring rock, rhythm and blues to Moody Gardens today.
Guests can enjoy a fireworks display after each show.
The concert at Moody Gardens’ Palm Beach, 1 Hope Blvd., lasts from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tickets are $6.
