The Grand plans multimedia exhibit, concert

GALVESTON — “Let the Spirit Move You… An Uplifting Arts Experience” will be presented from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at The Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice St., as part of ArtWalk.
Those participating in the exhibition include artist Anne Charpentier, who works in sculpting, photography, painting and drawing. Also contributing are three Galveston photographers: the Rev. David Dearman, Dr. Dan Freeman and Carl Schutz.
At 8 p.m., Sweet Honey in the Rock will perform. The African-American ensemble has won Grammy Awards.
Saturday’s performance will include a mix of traditional gospel hymns, reggae and ancient lullabies.
