• La Marque 68, Galena Park 65 (boys): Galena Park turned the ball over with five seconds remaining in a tie game, and Jim Wooten hit a half-court shot at the buzzer for the victory.
Wesley Henderson led La Marque with 19 points. Also scoring for the Cougars were Jim Wooten with 11 and Marcus Allen with 10.
La Marque (2-1) travels to Forest Brook on Wednesday.
• Dickinson 81, Stafford 63 (boys): The Gators rolled to victory to remain unbeaten on the season.
Kenny Harris led Dickinson with 21 points. Also scoring for the Gators were Rickie Williams with 13, Quentin Harris with 11, Undre Stoker with 10, Robert Ruffins with nine and Robert Biggers with eight.
Dickinson (3-0) will play at Crosby next Tuesday.
• Friendswood 33, Alvin 23 (girls): Annalisa Hall led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points.
• Santa Fe 47, Pasadena Sam Rayburn 25 (girls): Kinsey Mims led Santa Fe with 20 points. Kayla Tibaldo added seven points and Caitlin Riley six points.
Karesha Walder (four), Kristen Colombo (three), Amanda Affolter (three), Valerie Parnell (two) and Alex Sullens (two) also scored for the Lady Indians.
• Hitchcock 52, Crosby 36 (girls): LaTiffany Hensley scored a team-high 13 points for the Lady Bulldogs in the victory.
Also scoring for Hitchcock were Jasmine Beard with 10, LaTreva Green with 10, Destiny Scranton with nine, Karissa Garner with six, LaDerricka Eden with two and Damarree Coleman with two.
