‘Students on Stage’ Casses

‘Secrets, A Murder Mystery’
LA MARQUE — This play, written by local playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson, will show at 8 p.m. Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 at Badoux’s Café, 199A Vauthier Drive. The press and industry preview will be at 8 p.m. Saturday.

‘Most Valuable Player’
GALVESTON — “The Most Valuable Player” will be shown at 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at The Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice St.
This play from the Dallas Children’s Theater chronicles the events that shaped Jackie Robinson’s character and the tremendous obstacles he overcame, changing the face of the national pastime, and ultimately the nation as well.

Tourneés Festival At UHCL
CLEAR LAKE — The University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Film and Speaker Series will present the film “Né Le Dis A Personne/Tell No One” at 8 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Bayou Theater, 2700 Bay Area Blvd.
“Roman De Gare” or “Crossed Tracks” will be presented at 3 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Student Services and Classroom Building Lecture Hall.
The festival is a part of the French American Cultural Exchange and includes several French films.
