Ariel Scott led Dickinson (1-0) with 14 points, while Porchea Nunn and Tannon Slater each scored 10. Nunn also had 10 rebounds, while Slater had six steals and Tynesha Harris had five swipes.

For Santa Fe (0-1), Valerie Parnell had eight points, and Lindsey Campbell had seven.

Annalisa Hall and the Lady Mustangs picked up right where they left off with a big season-opening win.
Hall had 33 points, nine steals and eight assists. Kellsey Kaufhold had 15 points and eight rebounds for Friendswood (1-0), while J.C. Woodard had five points and 10 rebounds.
