Mize-Steinmetz
Courtney Beth Mize and Cameron Niall Steinmetz were married on Saturday, April 18, 2009 with a candlelight service at Moody Memorial First United Methodist Church in Galveston, Texas. The Reverend Ray Pinard officiated. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at the Hawthorn Suite.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Deni Mize of Galveston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Wanda Bone of Bellaire, Texas, William and Peggy Bone of Houston, Texas and William and Sophie Mize of Bellaire, Texas.
Courtney is a graduate of Galveston Ball High School and Texas A&M University in College Station. She is an Environmental Investigator III with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Houston, Texas.
The groom is the son of Larry and Janette Steinmetz of Springfield, Virginia. He is the grandson of Patricia Mahoney of Las Vegas, Nevada and Wayne and Donna Aten of Wilder, Idaho.
A graduate of Humble High School, Cameron is a Marine Science Technician 1st Class with the United States Coast Guard in Houston, Texas.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Lauren Youngblood of Galveston, Texas and as maid of honor was Kristina Korenek of Fort Worth, Texas. Also attending as bridesmaids were Lauren Schmidt of Houston, Texas; sister of the groom, Talena Steinmetz of Springfield, Virginia; cousin of the bride, Jenny Varner of Austin, Texas; and special attendant Courtney McNutt of New Waverly, Texas. The flower girls were Victoria Gurgos and Sophie Edwards, cousins of the bride.
Calvin Parker of Kingwood, Texas served as best man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride, Michael Mize, Jr. of Bryan, Texas; Roy LaPoint of Houston, Texas; William Sullivan and Josh Brown of Kingwood, Texas. Ring bearers were cousins of the bride, Austin Gurgos and Harrison Edwards. Ushers were Brandon Greer of Bryan, Texas and John Gunn of Kingwood, Texas.
Courtney and Cameron would like to thank their family, friends, and guests who helped make their wedding day special. They will write when they get settled in Kentucky.
