Kavanaugh 50th Wedding Anniversary
Pat and Herbert Kavanaugh celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 23, 2009. They were married in Fort Worth, Texas. After Herbert received his Master’s degree from Texas A&M University, they moved to Dickinson, Texas, where he was employed with and retired from NASA. Patsy worked for a marine surveyor and as church clerk for their church.
They have three daughters and sons-in-law: Latitia Hedrick and husband Wade, Vanessa Pedersen and husband Poul and Dachelle Purcell and husband Tony. They also have five grandsons: Thomas Hedrick, Garrett Purcell, Carsten Pedersen, Drake Pedersen and Trevor Pedersen.
The children and grandchildren celebrated Pat and Herb’s 50th anniversary by holding a reception in their honor at First Baptist Church in Dickinson, Texas. They will be spending a few days with Pat and Herb in celebration at a resort on the Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas.
