Newbrough 50th Wedding Anniversary
Dan E. Newbrough and Wilda R. Newbrough are celebrating their 50th year of marriage on August 29, 2009. They met at The University of Texas, Austin in 1958, on a blind date and were married a little over a year later in West Columbia, Texas. They have lived in the states of Washington, California, and Texas.
Intelligent, curious, garrulous, and feisty, Dan and Wilda encourage diverse opinions on a wide range of topics and like nothing better than learning something new. These two are passionately devoted to God, the United States, the great state of Texas, family and friends, education, the space program, and, of course, UT football.
They have two children, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a myriad of acquaintances and devoted friends. They are an inspiration. Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to this remarkable couple!
