Hazzard-Johnson
Amanda Lynn Hazzard of Texas City and B.J. Johnson of Dallas were united in marriage at 6 p.m., June 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Texas City. The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Tammy Hazzard of Texas City. The groom is the son of Joe Johnson of Loveland, Ohio and Pam Law of Florence, Kentucky. Chris Wright officiated the double ring ceremony. Wedding music was provided by organist Dru Dickey and vocalists Lana Clement and Ronnie Hazzard. A dinner and dance reception followed at the Centurion Palace in League City. Traci Hazzard, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jeanne Sharp, Elizabeth Heyer, Suzanne Meredith, Julie Sorrels and Kim Hobbs. Brent Rambo and Joshua Speight served as best men. Groomsmen were Jason Hinkelman, Clayton Pate, Cory Rogers, Jeff Skains and Chris Stein. Ushers were Jason Cate, Matt Hill, Andy Knapp and Terry Wright. Honor attendants were Leeanna Davis, Angela Ladd, and Tiffany Loftin. Amanda is a graduate of Texas City High School and received her B.B.S. in Communication from Hardin-Simmons University, Master of Arts from Abilene Christian University, and Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law. She is an attorney with Sharpe and Associates, PLLC in Dallas, Texas. B.J. is a graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio and received his B.B.S in Communication and Masters of Education from Hardin-Simmons University. He is a personal banker at Chase Bank in Dallas, Texas. The couple honeymooned in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and are residing in Dallas, Texas.
