Robinson 50th Wedding Anniversary
Harry and JoAnn “BeeBee” Robinson of Hitchcock will celebrate their 50th Anniversary today at a luncheon hosted by their children with their grandchildren and siblings at Galveston’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
They were united in marriage on Saturday, August 8, 1959 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock with Fr. Francis Connor performing the ceremony. Serving as Maid of Honor was Bettejane “Tootie” Tuttoilmondo, sister of bride and serving as Best Man was Robert Cambiano friend of the groom and cousin of the bride.
Harry and BeeBee both were born and raised in Hitchcock and raised their four children there; Joan Sendejas (David), Cheryl Robinson (Rocky), Harry “Bubba” Robinson, Jr. (Sherrilyn) and Henry Robinson (Nora). They have nine grandchildren, Shellie, Casey, Chase, Dustin, Zachary, Sarah, Cody, Lanie and Cortney and one great-grandchild, Kyleigh.
Friends may wish them well on Saturday, August 15th at the place they have spent many of their past anniversaries -- The Hitchcock Good Ole Days.
