Everett Howl And The Wolves
GALVESTON — Everett Howl and The Wolves, a band that counts Patsy Cline and Radiohead among its influences, will play at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at Mod Coffeehouse, 2126 Postoffice St., in Galveston.
Admission is free.

Bluegrass Show
LEAGUE CITY — The Bay Area Bluegrass Association will present a free show and jam session at 7 p.m. Saturday at Johnny Arolfo Civic Center, 300 W. Walker St., in League City.
White Dove, Lonestar Bluegrass Band and Buddy and Tina Wright are the featured bands.
Three jam rooms will be available, including a slow jam room for beginners.

Holiday Lighting Event
GALVESTON — Hotel Galvez will host a free holiday lighting event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 27 at the hotel, 2024 Seawall Blvd., in Galveston.
The event kicks off with Santa’s arrival by carriage at 6 p.m.
Entertainment includes the Sacred Heart Church Cantate Youth Choir, Bayou City Pipes and Drums, Galveston Ballet and Galveston College Choir.
