In Sunday’s edition of The Daily News, a list of votes cast in two races were inaccurate. In Texas City commissioner races, Thelma Bowie defeated Johnny L. Hollowell, 343 votes to 96, in District 1, and Rick Wilkenfeld defeated Buster Cantrell, 206 to 119, in District 4. In Tiki Island, Proposition 1 to establish a monthly fee for the fire department passed with 224 votes for and 80 against.
