Designer adds personality to dresses

GALVESTON — Designer Miwa Sakashita, whose elegant gowns are known for simple lines, adds some personality of each duchess in the Knights of Momus Ball to her gowns.

A judge on Friday reduced owner Wydell Dixon’s appeal bond from $105,000 to $27,900 based on the $2,790 a day cost for caring for the cats.
