GALVESTON — Landry’s employees and their families put Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier workers to the test Sunday as they prepare for the official opening.

Mayor joins Oak Ridge Boys for 'Wipe Out'
By Amanda Casanova |  | (10)
GALVESTON — Mayor Joe Jaworski joined The Oak Ridge Boys onstage at The Grand 1894 Opera House this week, taking up a pair of drumsticks to play surf rock favorite "Wipe Out" with the quartet.

While he didn't throw his drumsticks into the crowd following the performance, Jaworski did present the band with keys to the city and a proclamation.

Check out the mayor rocking it out below:

This isn't the first time we've heard Joe beat his own drum!

This isn't the first time Galvestonians have heard Joe beat his own drum! Just show him a camera or microphone and watch him go.
